Daylight Saving Time end last night in the wee hours, meaning we “gain” an extra hour today instead of losing one! Of course, if you are reading this in most of Arizona or Hawaii this exciting news does not apply to you.
Thus, people will have an extra hour in their day to whatever they want. Don’t take this time for granted as this extra hour only happens once a year.
Thank you, President Lydon Baines Johnson, for making daylight saving time law in 1966 and creating this day for productive people to be even more productive.
According to INC, people waste 21.8 hours of their week doing nothing. Well now, you can take the great step of reducing your time-wasting to 20.8 hours this week by doing something with the extra hour.
Here is a list of things you can do:
- Go for a walk
- Watch a video about the history of Daylight Saving Time
- Go to Church
- Read a book
- Call a friend
- Work out
Or the most likely scenario: enjoy an extra hour of sleep.
Happy end-of-Daylight-Saving-Time… until March 10th, that is, when we “Spring forward” and do it all over again!
